Flats

Living has now become a vertical affair-literally. Flats or multi storey living heavens have sprung up in all parts of our country and they are quite a sight to see. Unlike flats you would find in Mumbai or Chennai in the early 1990s, modern day flats come with all amenities that would put any house to shame. Swimming pools, Jacuzzis, entertainment areas, Gyms you name it they have it. This is in addition to the fact that most flats are conveniently located near important places of business. Some flats even come with their own shopping malls and cinema theaters. I bought a flat in the recent past and I couldn’t have been happier. I mean, I am surrounded by friends and I have security twenty four hours a day. To all those people who scream flats do not have privacy, I scream back come to my place. The entire apartment is sound proof and you do not get unwanted visitors any time of the day (in a country like ours that is something you just cannot ignore).
